If you want to keep your employees safe, make them take less time of work, increase their confidence walk without fear in the streets of London and have more energy at work then corporate training could be what you're looking for.
I've actually done a couple of corporate gigs for a few companies. For the sake of privacy I'm not going to say the names here.
But if you're interested I'll give you references.
You know what amazes at these gigs?
It's not about the techniques or how to defend against a scenario...
...it's what the general employee DOESN'T know about basic self awareness skills.
I mean some of these skills are so basic and obvious they're taught to children.
And yet I see very few people teach this.
How to be aware of your surroundings. How to spot danger before its in front of you. How to verbal Judo you're way out of trouble.
Simple and easy stuff.
I mean even if you knew this, you probably wouldn't need to use your physical skills because you'd seen the danger beforehand.
And every time I show this to people, they're blown away!
I get comments like:
"That's so easy. Why didn't I think of that?"
"It's so obvious. I didn't even realise!"
I remember a while back speaking to one of clients about the moped attacks that were happening in London.
With a host of people getting robbed on the streets at traffic lights and on the tube station it was a bad time.
And I wrote a piece on how the moped attackers worked and how from their point of they picked their targets.
It was a simple post. Not much in it and yet which I got lot of attention and questions.
And it had nothing to with the physical skills. It was more about how not to make yourself a hard a target by carrying yourself in a way which dictated you'd be hard to pick on.
It even had an interview stating EXACTLY who they would look to rob.
And in fact by just doing the opposite what they look for how you could avoid trouble.
By just doing the simple things.
And guess what?
You'll get that in the very first session.
And if you need to know what to do if you can't avoid a nasty situation?
I've got you covered.
